Google Merchant Center

Under E-commerce:

1. Before you start

  • Connect Google first. See Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Your business needs a connected webshop, such as WooCommerce.
  • Your Google account needs access to the Merchant Center account.

2. Connect

  1. Go to Manage, choose your business and open Access keys. Client users: open Connections.
  2. In the Google block, click Also connect Merchant Center.
  3. Google asks for Shopping permission. Click Allow.
  4. Choose your Merchant Center account. Using a manager account? Pick the shop account below it.
  5. Is the list empty? Type the Merchant Center number instead. You find it at the top right in Merchant Center.
  6. Click Save and fetch figures.

3. What you see after connecting

Under E-commerce:

  • Free Shopping: impressions and clicks of your products in free listings.
  • Findability: which products are rarely found, so you know what to improve.
