Each goal has a card with:

Updated: 2026-09-17

1. Add a goal

  1. Open Goals and click Add goal.
  2. Choose the Year and the Subject, for example revenue, orders, leads, website visitors or your own figure.
  3. Choose How do you want to set the goal?:
    1. An amount or count: for example 250,000 revenue.
    2. Growth vs last year: a percentage. Metrara calculates the goal from last year's figures.
  4. Split the goal under Distribution across the quarters. Click Distribute evenly, or Same as last year to follow your seasonal pattern. The total must be 100%.
  5. Optionally add a note and click Save goal.

2. Read your goal

Each goal has a card with:

  • Achieved: where you are now.
  • Should be now: where you should be today, based on your quarterly split.
  • Goal: the goal for the year.
  • On track: achieved divided by where you should be. Green at 100% or more, orange from 90%, red below 90%.

Below that:

  • A chart with your actual progress and the expected pace.
  • A plain-language verdict, for example how much you are behind and what that means per week.
  • A projection of where you end the year at your current pace.

Click show quarters and months for the figures per quarter.

3. Track your own figure

Choose Track yourself (own figure) for goals Metrara can't measure, such as the number of new clients. Choose whether the figure adds up over the year or is a level at a moment, and enter the figures per month on the goal card.

4. Link tasks to a goal

On the Tasks tab you can link a project to a goal. The goal card then shows how many of those tasks are done.

5. Good to know

  • Only agency users can add and edit goals. Client users see the progress.
  • The period bar doesn't apply to Goals; a goal always covers the whole year.
